Frost
Outdoors temperature is −21 °C now. Previously, I always felt warm, even in winter, and wool sweaters were just gathering dust in the wardrobe. Now, apparently, I am getting old. The big frost turned me into Snow Woman.

In Country.
Watched the film "In Country" (1989) with Bruce Willis and Emily Lloyd in the lead roles. This movie is about the veteran of the Vietnam War, about the girl, who is trying to assemble memories of deceased father and about living in the small american town as well. Despite my ignorance and remoteness from the subject of the Vietnam War, I liked the film very much. Its plot seemed to me to be simple and touching. After all, in those years they knew how to show the everyday life situation so to touch the heart and leave a mark on the soul. It is fair to say that as a dramatic actor Bruce Willis is mediocre and Emily Lloyd despite her youth has played more convincing, but the impression of the film is still good. Also, I should mention the wonderful soundtrack by James Horner.
In his story hero of Bruce Willis mentions herons and on the background of the final credits are also shown flying herons.
The most joyful and warm days of my youth passed by the river and I am very fond of these birds. I still remember their harsh voices that were heard from the heavenly heights, when they flew in small flocks over the water and over the pines.
Sky, waters, dream, light, my soul, filled with hopes.
