I was reading Anton Chekhov's novel "Enemies". Here is a quote. "There was something attractive, touching the heart in the general stoicism, in the pose of the mother, in the indifference of the doctor's face, precisely that subtle, barely perceptible beauty of human grief, which will not soon learn to understand and describe and can convey, it seems, only music. " So I totally disagree with the athour. There is nothing beautiful nor in grief, nor in suffering, it is purely horrible . I personally had more suffering in life than joy.
