Yet another oldie. Times were better when I stitched it.

I'd wish to be lost in obscurity among the autumn leaves and the moon.

Trying to stitch. Yet another ancient embroidery of mine, even the picture has almost vanished.

My last walk in the forest was sad. I saw five beautiful herons flying in the sky. There was so much grace, calmness,  beauty and eternity in their flight. I still see that picture in my mind and feel those feelings.  I guess in twenty minutes I heard shootings and I'm afraid these magnificent birds

Where did this reality go where simple things were so beautiful?

Orpheus and Euridyce.
This story would  be just as beautiful even without Orpheus. Among of all the ancient Greek myths, this one resonates  the most with me.

I've been stitching this teddy bear at nights and early mornings listening to the sounds of the rockets.

  • Every night and every morn                        Some to misery are born.                          Every morn and every night                    Some are born to sweet delight.              Some are born to sweet delight                Some are born to endless night.           William Blake

I miss my night walks so much.            Fanny agreed to it

, and had the pleasure of seeing him continue at the window with her, in spite of the expected glee; and of having his eyes soon turned, like hers, towards the scene without, where all that was solemn, and soothing, and lovely, appeared in the brilliancy of an unclouded night, and the contrast of the deep shade of the woods. Fanny spoke her feelings. 'Here's harmony!' said she; 'here's repose! Here's what may leave all painting and all music behind, and what poetry only can attempt to describe! Here's what may tranquillise every care, and lift the heart to rapture! When I look out on such a night as this, I feel as if there could be neither wickedness nor sorrow in the world; and there certainly would be less of both if the sublimity of Nature were more attended to, and people were carried more out of themselves by contemplating such a scene.'                                                       Jane Austen "Mansfield Park"
